Upgrading from earlier versions of Mail for Exchange
If you are currently using a version of Mail for Exchange older than version 2.0.0, you must uninstall it before installing Mail for Exchange 3.0.
To find out which version of Mail for Exchange you have installed:
  1. open the device’s Application Manager. Find and select Mail for Exchange in the list of applications shown.
  2. choose Options > About. The version is shown.
Consult your device’s user manual for instructions on how to uninstall the older version.
When uninstalling Mail for Exchange, e-mail folders are deleted. Tasks, calendar and contacts items remain on your device.
Mail for Exchange 2.7.0 and later versions have additional contacts fields. If you are upgrading from a version earlier than 2.7.0, synchronise the new fields to your device by selecting Options > Full resync.
Upgrading using Software Update
If your device has the Software Update application installed, you can use this to upgrade Mail for Exchange to the latest version.
If Software Update is set to automatically check for updates, you will be prompted when a new version is available. Alternatively, you can manually check for new versions by selecting All updates from the Software Update menu.
